Lunawood is one of JSC’s TMT Taiga product offerings, which is a beautifully featured thermally modified timber product that is a warm brown tone and produced using natural methods of heat and steam. It is sourced from Oy Lunawood Ltd in Europe and profiled locally by JSC Timber into New Zealand approved profiles.
This product offering ranges from smaller, more scattered knots to more oval-shaped knots showing up at regular intervals known as that give cladding and interiors a completely unique personality.

External Cladding:
Lunawood is a reliable choice for exterior cladding due to its improved dimensional stability, durability, and aesthetics. It provides a modern finish for a variety of applications. Interiors:
Lunawood is highly suitable for interior wall linings and battens. In addition to Lunawood’s attractive appearance, the thermal modification of wood omits the risk of harmful emissions. This makes Lunawood an ideal material for interiors.
Important note: Only Stainless Steel fastenings must be used for fixing Lunawood products.
