Kwila

A JSC Timber solid hardwood deck made from renewable natural resources is not only an architectural link between the landscape and the built environment; it adds value to your home and uses one of the world's truly renewable resources.

Kwila heartwood is yellow-brown to dark red-brown in colour. The grain is slightly interlocked and the texture is moderately coarse. Yellow deposits in the vessels are a common feature of the wood. It is nonsiliceous, sometimes lustrous. Timber ‘bleeds’ when wet producing dark red-brown stain.
