American White Oak

American White Oak trees are native of Eastern USA. The trees prefer rich well drained soil, and average height is 15 metres to 30 metres. The wood is dense and heavy with good strength, in particular its high resistance to abrasion and wear.  White Oak can be stained or oiled with a wide range of finish tones.

White Oak is strong, beautiful, rot-resistant, easy-to-work, and economical, representing an exceptional value to woodworkers. It’s no wonder that the wood is so widely used in cabinet and furniture making.
