Western Red Cedar (Thuja Plicata Donn ex D.Don)

Western Red Cedar is a common tree in the Pacific Northwest coastal and interior regions of British Columbia, Canada. It is a large tree and when mature, up to 60 metres tall and 2.5 metres in diameter. The tree is one of the longest lived and most decay-and insect-resistant softwood species in North America.
