Factory Applied Weatherboard Coating System

JSC specifically developed the CedarShield system to responsibly manage and increase the performance of Western Red Cedar against the harsh New Zealand environment.

The CedarShield System offers factory applied coating within a controlled environment delivering a full envelope seal to Weatherboards, Fascia, Panelling and Dressed profiles prior to delivery. 

JSC CedarShield is a commercially applied oil stain that adds colour to timber, but allows the grain to show through. The oil rich JSC CedarShield formula penetrates, to protect and enhance the colour and natural characteristics of timber. CedarShield insures a consistent application for improved appearance and increased finish life and durability without unsightly lap marks or acclimatisation lines.

Coating options include both oil and water based coating systems with many new and innovative colours available. The JSC Architectural box holds many colour options from our strategic coating partners, however JSC Timber can custom colour stains to meet your requirements.
